College Basketball Picks November 14th
Marquette at Illinois (-1.5) (O/U 147.5)
I am super excited for this matchup, as I love this Illinois bunch this season. For whatever reason, I have not been super high on Marquette this year and last. Hand up, they have cost me a few bucks, but I will stand on that take!
This Illinois team can make some real noise in the Big Ten this year. Obviously, Terrance Shannon Jr. is the name we all know and love. He is the leader of the team and will be the best player on the court. If you don’t know the name Marcus Domask, learn it. Domask is a player I have driven the fan club of over the last few seasons, and he took over games at the mid-major level: a true point forward and a tough guard for any team. Domask can be a game-changer this season.

Marquette is very solid and plays so well as a team, but the fact that this game is in Champaign is a game-changer for me. Ride with the Illini.

Kansas (-5.5) vs Kentucky (O/U 147.5)
Veterans vs Young Blood in Chicago as Kansas and Kentucky meet up in the State Farm Champions Classic. If you are a college hoops fan but not entirely dialed into it, you will recognize a lot of names on this Kansas roster. Kentucky, on the other hand, not so much. Kentucky is a team of freshmen with crazy high potential. This game could go one of two ways. The Jayhawks show the Kentucky Kids what is up, or we have a coming out party for one of the most talented groups in the nation.
