Underdog Fantasy College Basketball Picks For December 1st

Kevin McCullar Higher Than 23.5 PRA

Kansas has struggled with their consistency and outside shooting so far this year. Kevin McCullar has been in Hunter Dickinson‘s shadow this season, but he has been the Jayhawks’ best stat sheet stuffer. In seven games this season, McCullar has two Triple Doubles and has covered the 23.5 projection in 6 of 7.

On average, McCullar has gone 7.8 Points, Rebounds, and Assists higher than 23.5 PRA this season. In his games against high-major competition, he finished with 35 (vs. Marquette), 32 (vs. Kentucky), and 23 (vs/ Tennessee). The game against the Volunteers was the only game of 7 where this prop finished lower, and it was by the hook.

DaJuan Harris Lower Than 8.5 Points

Kansas’ point guard Dajuan Harris is one of the best playmakers in the country. But he rarely shoots the ball. Harris has only scored more than 8.5 points in one game this season. The Lower than 8.5 points for Harris is 6-1 this year. Outside of the one game, Harris did go Higher. He is averaging just 4.33 shots taken per game. Also, Tristen Newton is a good defender, and it could be tough for Harris to create his own shot in general.

Noah Waterman Higher Than 11.5 Points

First, Underdog Fantasy has listed this as a home game for BYU. However, the Cougars are playing Fresno State in a “neutral” site, albeit in Salt Lake City, Utah. The Cougar faithful will dominate the crowd, and we’re probably getting a discount on this player projection.

Second, BYU’s stud forward Noah Waterman is beginning to break out in his 5th season of college basketball. The Cougars have great depth and took some time figuring out roles early on this season. Waterman averaged 19.3 minutes per game during the first three contests this year. In his last three games, he has played 21, 25, and 28 minutes. In those last three games, the 6’11 forward scored 15 points off of 6 field goal attempts vs Morgan State. Last and more importantly, in his last two games against high-major competition, Waterman scored 24 pts on 14 FGA at Arizona State and 15 pts on 9 FGA vs NC State.
