It is finally Friday, and we have a nice little slate on our hands. Last night was awesome, with nearly 70 games to choose from and watch. It gave us a little glimpse of the Saturday we have on our hands. First off, let’s take care of the action for today. Here are the College Basketball Picks for December 22nd.

College Basketball Picks December 22nd
Georgetown (150.5) at Marquette -16.5
A pair of 0-1 Big East teams match in Milwaukee. No, not many expected Georgetown and Marquette to be near each other at any point of the Big East season. The Golden Eagles lost to Providence which has been a death trap for every Big East team over the years. Georgetown lost at Butler, where they were not expected to win.
I am expecting Marquette to bounce back in a strong way and get the home win against the rebuilding Hoyas. With that being said, the public is going to load up on Marquette against the spread as they are also expecting a bounce back.
Georgetown is not nearly as good as Marquette, but they are improving. With the spread being double digits, I am buying the Hoyas to be competitive in this matchup.
The Pick: Georgetown +16.5
Maryland (127.5) at UCLA -3.5
The UCLA Bruins could not look worse as they head into this matchup at 5-5. Maryland comes in off three straight wins but has yet to win a road game and has not looked well against a solid test yet.
We are buying UCLA at a low. They just lost to a bad mid-major team in Cal State Northridge, and you know for sure Coach Cronin let the boys have it.
This is not an easy test for them against a physical Maryland team, but I will ride with the Bruins, who have their backs against the wall.
The Pick: UCLA -3.5
