College Basketball Picks February 11th
Seton Hall at Villanova (-5.5) (O/U 131.5)
The Pirates take the short drive west to take on the Villanova Wildcats in Philly. Both of these teams got out to really hot starts in the Big East season but have since slowed down. The first few weeks of the season, Hall rattled off impressive win after impressive win. Villanova also did themselves well, as winning in Omaha is never easy.
These two teams place a slow-paced style of basketball that is driven by the defense, and I believe that will be the style we see on Sunday. Every possession will be sacred, and it will come down to the team who takes care of the ball the best. This leads me to believe that points will be sacred, yielding me to another total…

Penn State at Northwestern (-8.5) (O/U 145.5)
Northwestern is looking for their first season sweep of Penn State in seven years. These two teams have been impressive the last few weeks of the season, and I believe we can see a close-fought battle here.
Evanston is never an easy place to play, but Penn State has finally come together as a team. With a new coach and new roster, it was always going to take some time. We are finally seeing the squad gel, which has been fun to watch. I am not calling the upset, but I see this one closer than Vegas is expecting.
