The 2024 NFL Draft is one month away. We are a week into the new league year, and the NFL landscape has changed dramatically. There have been 14 trades, countless signings, and big-name releases already. The quarterback carousel was spinning with several quarterbacks on the move via trade. There were so many trades that we had to do this three-round 2024 NFL Mock Draft with Trades. How many quarterbacks go in Round 1?
The average is around 3 quarterbacks get drafted in the first round. Five is usually the max we see in Round 1 based on the last two decades. But we could see as many as 6 in this year’s draft. It’s unlikely, but there are a ton of QB-needy teams. They say it is important to do your shopping in free agency so you don’t go to the NFL Draft hungry. That is the case with some teams but definitely not with others.
Three-Round 2024 NFL Mock Draft with Trades – Dave Heilman 1.0
Several teams have glaring needs that we fully expect them to try to fill early in the draft. The Minnesota Vikings watched Kirk Cousins move to Atlanta and quickly signed Sam Darnold. No one expects them to roll him out all season. Brian Daboll and company are reportedly “done with Daniel Jones” and have buyer’s remorse. Do we expect them to roll with Daniel Jones or Drew Lock this season? Let’s look at some odds and then do our mock.

First Round Mock Draft
# | Team | Pick | Pos | College |
---|---|---|---|---|
1 | Bears via CAR | Caleb Williams | QB | USC |
Caleb Williams has always been the pick. Not only is he a higher graded prospect than Justin Fields, but the financial impact of the rookie salary is huge. We saw that play a factor in several quarterback trades. Shane Waldren gets to work with Caleb Williams and the Bears have done a fantastic job building around him. | ||||
2 | Commanders | J.J. McCarthy | QB | Michigan |
The Washington Commanders' quarterbacks are Marcus Mariota and Jake Fromm. They are drafting a quarterback, but which one. The trendy pick is Jayden Daniels and the odds so it will be Drake Maye. But, there is no one rising up media draft board smore than J.J. McCarthy. The word is that NFL teams love him and at Age 20, they think he is just scratching the surface. No one has concerns about his ability, but he is more of a projection because of the system. Let's not forget, even Andrew Luck was not asked to do a lot with Harbaugh. Let's shake things up, McCarthy is the pick! | ||||
3 | Giantsvia NE | Jayden Daniels | QB | LSU |
New York is desperate for a quarterback to get out of the Daniel Jones situation. Giants fans were loving Daboll and Schoen after year 1, but things have gone south quick. The Giants also have needs at Tackle and WR. Their free agency moves tell me they are going quarterback or WR here, I don't think they can sit and wait at QB. | ||||
4 | Cardinals | Marvin Harrison Jr. | WR | Ohio State |
Cardinals and Marvin Harrison Jr. has been the 2nd easiest mock selection all year. Unless Arizona trades out, this is the pick, Harrison Jr. is an absolute STUD! | ||||
5 | Vikingsvia LAC | Drake Maye | QB | Minnesota |
Vikings find a way to get their quarterback after letting Kirk Cousins walk. They get the guy they wanted all along. Drake Maye and Josh McCown have a connection and know Maye better than any other team. Maye lacks a signature game and regressed a bit in 2023, allowing others to pass him up. | ||||
6 | Patriots>via NYG | Joe Alt | OT | Notre Dame |
Patriots need a quarterback, but they also need an entire roster. They have about 3 building blocks and this team is in a great spot to trade back. Minnesota, New York, and others will be calling. Gave them a Giant Building block, Joe Alt to start the new regime. | ||||
7 | Jetsvia TEN | Malik Nabers | WR | LSU |
Jets are not done adding to the offense and feeding Aaron Rodgers what he wants. Malik Nabers or Rome Odunze would be phenomenal fits with Rodgers and I don't think Mike Williams takes them out. Tyron Smith doesn't take them out of the tackle market either. But, we went big when Nabers fell a little bit. | ||||
8 | Falcons | Dallas Turner | ED | Alabama |
This is going to be the first defense player I think, Edge or Corner at the 8 spot if they stick and pick. I did see a theory of taking Rome Odunze here and just loading up on offense. I don't exactly hate that either, but Morris wants a pass rush and he gets his pick of the litter. They are already heavily invested in the offense with all of their recent first round picks. | ||||
9 | Bears | Rome Odunze | WR | Washington |
Bears are doing everything they can to support Keenan Allen and for me it is either Tackle or Wide Receiver. Odunze offers a young weapon to grow with Williams as Allen is a short-term fit. Odunze is a polished player and one of the more mature prospects, this offense will need some help on the line. But, man this is forming up to be a very fun team. | ||||
10 | Titansvia NYJ | Olumuyima Fashanu | OT | Penn State |
I almost put him with his ex-high school teammate, but Titans trade back and get their franchise tackle. Such a deep class that trading back wasn't as risky. Titans are another team that needs a lot and trading back can help them fill multiple needs. But, Tackle is an absolute MUST! | ||||
11 | Chargersvia MIN | Taliese Fuaga | OT | Oregon State |
Chargers are in a great spot to trade back with these teams thirsty for quarterbacks. They are looking at wide receiver and tackle, lucky for them this class is full at both positions. Fuaga is a nasty right tackle to pair with Slater for many years. | ||||
12 | Steelers via DEN | Troy Fautanu | OT | Washington |
Steelers make a big trade up and go get their future left tackle. They have been improving the offensive line for years, but they still need a pure left tackle. The fit was too good and they could not risk it, traded up and got their guy. | ||||
13 | Raiders | Terrion Arnold | CB | Alabama |
His combine speech was inspirational and he left a memory for every team. But, that is the only reason he is going here. The Raiders are not reaching on a quarterback after paying Gardner Minshew $25 Million and $15 Million guaranteed . Raiders could draft a quarterback, but they are not as in desperate needs as other teams. | ||||
14 | Saints | Jared Verse | EDGE | Florida State |
Saints need another pass rusher and Cam Jordan is getting up there. Verse is a powerful edge that has all of the tools. Could use some polishing as he only has a few moves, but he's really good at them. | ||||
15 | Colts | Brock Bowers | TE | Georgia |
Brock Bowers is pushed down the board because of the tackles and quarterbacks. A team could end up trading up for him, but I don't think the Colts pass if he is there. A perfect compliment to this offense. | ||||
16 | Seahawks | Jackson Powers-Johnson | C | Oregon |
Life just got easier with Aaron Donald retiring, but Seattle hasn't had a good Center since Max Unger. They fix that with the big-man from the Pacific West. | ||||
17 | Jaguars | Quinyon Mitchell | CB | Toledo |
Quinyon Mitchell could end up being the first corner in the class. Any doubters were hushed after seeing him at the Senior Bowl and then again at the Combine. | ||||
18 | Bengals | Byron Murphy | DL | Texas |
The team really missed D.J. Reader last year, look for them to fortify the interior defensive line. | ||||
19 | Billsvia LAR | Brian Thomas Jr. | WR | LSU |
Bills make a big trade up, they need another playmaker. Brian Thomas is the clear-cut #4 wide receiver right now and they go get him. Last year they waited and missed out on the wide receiver run. This year they get aggressive and go get a guy that really compliments Stefon Diggs and Dalton Kincaid. | ||||
20 | Broncosvia PIT | Bo Nix | QB | Oregon |
Broncos call the Las Vegas Raiders' bluff and trade back. They get some needed draft capital and get their quarterback. | ||||
21 | Dolphins | Jer'Zhan "Johnny" Newton | DL | Illinois |
Dolphins lost so many players this offseason and almost all of them were in the trenches. No bigger loss than Christian Wilkins, big shoes to fill for Johnny Newton. He is a an athletic big-man that offers some inside pass-rush. | ||||
22 | Eagles | Nate Wiggins | CB | Clemson |
The Philadelphia Eagles regressed in 2023 and there were a lot of problems. Mostly having Matt Patricia on their staff, but their aging corners were a big part of it. They need speed and youth at corner, Wiggins fits the bill. | ||||
23 | Chargersvia MIN | Adonai Mitchell | WR | Texas |
Chargers need to address the wide receiver position and they do here. Mitchell walks in as the most talented Wide Receiver on the team right off the bat. He has all of the traits and ability to be their #1 right away. | ||||
24 | Cowboys | Graham Barton | IOL | Duke |
Cowboys need help both at Center and at Guard. Tyler Smith moves to Left Tackle and Tyler Biadasz went to Washington. Barton is a versatile player that can play all three-positions, they had great success converting Martin to Guard. | ||||
25 | Packers | Amarius Mims | OT | Georgia |
The Green Bay Packers are moving on from David Bakhtiari and they need to get a blind side protector for Jordan Love. Mims is a massive human being who can play left or right side Day 1 for Green Bay. | ||||
26 | Buccaneers | Laiatu Latu | EDGE | UCLA |
Buccaneers are still looking to replace some pass rushers. Shaq Barrett is gone and Latu is a ready-made player. As long as the medical is not a concern, he is a very polished pass-rusher. | ||||
27 | Cardinalsvia HST | Demeioun "Chop" Robinson | EDGE | Penn State |
Cardinals have multiple first round picks. They definitely didn't expect the Texans first to be this late, but they still get a good player here from Penn State. | ||||
28 | Rams via BUF | OT | Georgia/b> | |
Cooper DeJean is a versatile player that might end up as a hybrid safety at the NFL level. His experience playing outside in coverage will help him. He could start there and move inside or to safety after. But, a great player that McVay will have a plan for. | ||||
29 | Lions | Kool-Aid McKinstry | CB | Alabama |
Lions needed corner help before they released Cam Sutton. Now they really need more help. They brought Carlton Davis in, but they will add another early. | ||||
30 | Ravens | J.C. Latham | OT | Alabama |
Ravens love shopping at Alabama and they need a right tackle. Perfect fit for both he and the team. | ||||
31 | 49ers | Tyler Guyton | OT | Oklahoma |
A big, long tackle that really caught people's eyes at the NFL Combine. Guyton could use some polish, but offensive line coaches will be fighting for this guy. | ||||
32 | Chiefs | Jordan Morgan | OT | Arizona |
The only weakness on the Kansas City Chiefs were the Tackles and they still need help there. After signing Marquise Brown, I think Tackle is the priority. |
Second Round Mock Draft
# | Team | Pick | Pos | College |
---|---|---|---|---|
33 | Panthers via SF | Troy Franklin | WR | Oregon |
In most years, Franklin is a lock to be a first rounder. The depth of this class might hurt the position while people grab more shallow positions earlier. Franklin offers a perfect compliment to Diontae Johnson and Adam Thielen to help give Bryce Young more weapons. | ||||
34 | Patriots | Michael Penix Jr. | QB | Washington |
Patriots didn't take a quarterback in the first round, they traded back and got needed assets. They still get a quarterback here, Michael Penix fits this west-coast offense perfect. Could see them trading up in the 1st round to grab him. | ||||
35 | Cardinals | Roman Wilson | WR | Michigan |
Cardinals are revamping their wide receiver group with Marquise Brown and Rondale Moore gone. No more Kliff Kingsbury era, they add Marvin Harrison Jr. and now Roman Wilson. Things might be a little awkward between those two at rookie camp.... | ||||
36 | Commanders | Kingsley Sumataia | OT | BYU |
The only thing the Commanders' were worse at than pass defense was pass protection. Sam Howell was a punching bag last year and the offensive line needs some work. They grabbed J.J. McCarthy Round 1 and now they go get him a body guard in the 2nd. | ||||
37 | Chargers | Mike Sainristil | CB | Michigan |
Chargers defense got worse under Brandon Staley, but they still have some good pieces. Where they are weak is at corner and they will need to address that position. I spoke with several Michigan players at the combine and it was almost unanimous that Mike Sainristil was the leader of that defense. A versatile corner that can play inside and out, brings leadership to this team. Harbaugh is all about culture and he will bring in some of his guys to enforce that. | ||||
38 | Titans | Darius Robinson | EDGE | Missouri |
This class is full of pass rushers and Robinson could go anywhere from mid-round 1 to early day 2. Darius is a great pass-rusher with a high-motor, a great fit to pair up with Harold Landry. | ||||
39 | Panthers via SF | Steve Frazier | C | West Virginia |
Carolina needs to do everything they can to protect Bryce Young. He was running for his life all year and they have already invested heavily in doing so. They go and get him a center that he can develop with for years to come. | ||||
40 | Commandersvia CHI | Xavier Worthy | WR | Texas |
Kliff Kingsbury loves speed and is not afraid of smaller wide receivers. Xavier Worthy takes over for Curtis Samuel as the Commanders move to a more pass-heavy approach. | ||||
41 | Packersvia NYJ | Tyler Nubin | S | Minnesota |
Green Bay sticks to attacking the secondary and grabs Tyler Nubin to pair up with Cooper DeJean to help rebuild this group. Nubin is thought by many to be the top safety in this class, he pairs up with Xavier Worthy in this new look defense. | ||||
42 | Texans | T'Vondre Sweat | DL | Texas |
DeMeco Ryans is used to having massive players in the middle of his defense in San Francisco. I thought Arik Armstead might end up in Houston. Sweat is too fast and too athletic to be that big. His combine performance had jaws dropping, expect him to go early. He stays in Texas and is a perfect fit for this Texans defense that is looking pretty scary this year. | ||||
43 | Falcons | Ennis Rakestraw Jr. | CB | Missouri |
Falcons keep Kamari Lassiter in Georgia and pair him up with A.J. Terrelll. Lassiter is a | ||||
44 | Raiders | Patrick Paul | OT | Houston |
Las Vegas needs help in the trenches and Patrick Paul could be that help. Sure, he may be a second round talent, but you cannot teach 6-7 size and strength. Look for him to compete in his rookie year. | ||||
45 | Saints via DEN | Xavier Leggette | WR | South Carolina |
We have all seen what Leggette can do and we have heard his legendary drawl. Leggette will bring a missing vertical element to the Saints' passing game. | ||||
46 | Colts | Max Melton | CB | Rutgers |
Max Melton blew up the NFL Combine in Indy and a lot of teams took note. The Colts love athleticism and they got a firsthand view of it. Indianapolis has a big need at corner and Melton should start Day 1. | ||||
47 | Patriots>via NYG | Devontez Walker | WR | North Carolina |
New England needs an outside wide receiver and a big-play threat. Walker checks all of the boxes and has number one wide receiver size. Pair him up with Michael Penix and this offense is starting to get a little life. | ||||
48 | Jaguars | Bralen Trice | ED | Washington |
Jacksonville needs more pass rush and Trice is a really fun player. A high-motor player that has some really fun tape. Needs to be more consistent, but the flashes are awesome. Great player to develop behind Josh Allen and add to their pass-rush rotation. | ||||
49 | Bengals | Ladd McConkey | WR | Georgia |
Bengals get their Tyler Boyd replacement. McConkey's injuries are the biggest question mark. His stock has been rising since the Senior Bowl. Ladd stood out at the NFL combine and had a great Pro Day. He has checked all of the boxes and should go round 2 if all medicals are good. | ||||
50 | Eagles via NO | Edgerrin Cooper | LB | Texas A&M |
Philadelphia lost their linebackers last offseason and it really effected them in 2022. They tried to grab some veterans and that didn't work. This year they invest in a position they don't like to invest in. Grabbing the number one linebacker in this class gives them a great pairing with Devin White. | ||||
51 | Steelers | Sedrick Van Pran | C | Georgia |
Pittsburgh let Mason Cole walk, they will need to address the Center position. The interior of this offensive line will be crucial to the team's success, no matter who plays quarterback. | ||||
52 | Rams | Christian Mahogany | IOL/b> | Boston College |
Los Angeles gets to put some more resources into the offensive line. Protecting Matthew Stafford is crucial to this team's success and they will be adding resources to fortify their front. | ||||
53 | Eagles | Cooper beebe | IOL | Kansas State |
Miami lost key pieces on the offensive line and Beebe would be expected to start right away. He is an experiences and productive player that should transition smoothly into the NFL. | ||||
54 | Browns | Kamren Kitchens | S | Miami |
Philadelphia needs youth on defense, particularly in the secondary. Kitchens offers them an athletic versatile player that can move around in this Vic Fangio scheme. | ||||
55 | Dolphins | Payton Wilson | LB | N.C. State |
Cleveland needs more playmakers on defense right? They have worked on the offense this free agency. I expect them to use the draft to replenish some resources on defense. They lost some linebackers in free agency and Payton Wilson upgrades an already elite defense. This guy is a high-energy playmaker that Jim Schwartz will be pounding the table for. | ||||
56 | Cowboys | Trey Benson | RB | Florida State |
The Dallas Cowboys are the most obvious running back needy team. There are no first-round running backs, but they take one in the second to get their pick of the litter. Benson is a three-down back with dual-threat ability. Pair him up with Dowdle as they get a young replacement for Tony Pollard. Even if Zeke returns, they will draft a running back very high. | ||||
57 | Buccaneers | T.J.Tampa | CB | Green Bay |
Green Bay loves big, physical corners and T.J. Tampa checks those boxes. They are expected to move on from Jaire Alexanders and Tampa has a similar build to Rasul Douglas who they traded last year. | ||||
58 | Packers | Christian Haynes | IOL | Connecticut |
Tampa Bay has transitioned their offensive line and they will continue doing that. Adding more depth and a potential starter on the interior. | ||||
59 | Texans | Junior Colson | LB | Michigan/b> |
Colson is an old school downhill linebacker. Houston loves Big-10 players and he is a tough, hard-hitting traffic cop that can start right away. Colson looks the part already and should start right away for the Texans | ||||
60 | Rams via BUF | Braden Fiske | DL | Florida State |
Fiske was a big riser from the NFL Combine. He won't be an Aaron Donald replacement, no one can do that. But, he pairs up with Turner to Shore up that defensive interior. | ||||
61 | Lions | Chris Braswell | EDGE | Alabama |
Detroit needs to find a playmate for Aiden Hutchinson. Braswell has some inside/outside flexibility that fits perfectly on the other side of Hutch. A great run defender that offers some pass rush too. | ||||
62 | Ravens | Keon Coleman | WR | Florida State |
Keon Coleman is highly unlikely to go Round 1 after his 40. But, he is too good to fall too far. Baltimore finds values like this every year and I have them doing it again. Great football player, didn't work out well. Ravens get a big-time playmaker to pair up with Zay Flowers and Mark Andrews. | ||||
64 | 49ers | Kris Jenkins | DL | Michigan |
They need to replace big Arik Armstead and Jenkins is a productive player from a great defense. Jenkins will start right away for whoever drafts him. He already has an NFL body and he dominated at the collegiate level. | ||||
63 | Chiefs | Ja'Tavion Sanders | TE | Texas |
Kansas City signed Mike Gesicki, but they still need a real succession plan for the eventual Kelce retirement. Sanders gets to develop behind the best to ever do it. He offers tremendous athleticism and massive upside to the position. |
Third Round Mock Draft
# | Team | Pick | Pos | College |
---|---|---|---|---|
65 | Panthers | Marshawn Kneeland | EDGE | Western Michigan |
Carolina has to replace Brian Burns and they have to build this team. Kneeland gives them a potential building block for their defensive line. A smaller school player that is getting a lot of attention this offseason. It worked out that he was still available. There is a possibility he goes earlier this month. | ||||
66 | Cardinals | Michael Hall Jr. | DL | Ohio State |
This defense needs a lot of help and they really could go with best player available. Hall is a versatile player that can play up and down the line. He is sturdy in run defense and offers some pass rush as well. | ||||
67 | Commanders | Kris Abrams-Draine | CB | Missouri |
Washington really needs to throw more resources into this secondary. They used a 1st round pick last year and it really didn't work out. Dan Quinn brings in a new scheme and hopefully he can get more out of Emmanuel Forbes. Abrams-Draine is a smaller corner, likely plays inside. But, he is strong in coverage and he could start at Nickel for them Day 1. | ||||
68 | Patriots | Kamari Lassiter | CB | Georgia |
New England | ||||
69 | Vikings | Blake Corum | RB | Michigan |
Chargers will grab a running back to pair with Gus Edwards. Why not go back to Michigan and grab another culture guy. Blake Corum was a strong leader for Jim Harbaugh and he will be on the radar. A perfect fit for this scheme with Greg Roman. | ||||
70 | Giants | Malachi Corley | WR | Western Kentucky |
New York is in desperate need of playmakers. They had to give up a pick in this draft to go get a quarterback. They will have to go get their QB a weapon. Right now, this offense is a strong candidate for the worst in the league. Luckily there are good wide receivers and running backs they can grab day 2. Malachi Corley offers a much bigger body type to this offense. A catch and run specialist that competes right away for the #1 wide receiver spot. | ||||
71 | Cardinals/>via TEN | Javon Bullard | S | Georgia |
Cardinals | ||||
72 | Titansvia NYJ | Ruke Orhorhoro | DL | Clemson |
Tennessee continues to rebuild this roster and pour resources into the trenches. This guy's name sounds like he is from Scooby Doo. All jokes aside, he was a riser this offseason. Defensive lineman and guards are becoming more valuable. He is one of the top guys in the class. An athletic big man with a quick first-step. His athleticism and upside will be very popular. | ||||
73 | Lionsvia MIN | Ja'Lynn Polk | WR | Washington |
Detroit is in need of another weapon on offense and a Josh Reynolds replacement. They are hoping that Jameson Williams can finally step up. But, Polk is a great contingency plan and additional weapon to pair. One of the most productive wide receivers in the country last season. Polk offers more speed and big play ability to these New Detroit Lions. | ||||
74 | Falcons | Ricky Pearsall | WR | Florida |
Atlanta has loaded up with weapons for Kirk Cousins, but they are not going to stop. Pearsall turned some heads at the combine with his athleticism. He offers some inside and outside flexibility. They involved him in sweeps, screens, and found ways to get him involved. The Majority of his snaps were from the outside, but he also played very well from the slot. | ||||
75 | Bears | Adisa isaac | EDGE | Penn State |
The Bears spent the first part of this draft attacking the offense. Now we help the defense out with another pass rusher. They need more depth and another player to pair with Montez Sweat. Isaac is an extremely athletic pass rusher from Penn State. We would like to see more production, but the athleticism screams upside. | ||||
76 | Broncos | Jermaine Burton | WR | Washington |
Jermaine Burton might be one of the top 5 most talented wide receivers in this class. But, his off of the field issues that happened on the field are concerning. Some teams will have him off of their boards for striking a female fan that stormed the field at Tennessee. He also kicked a player and there are definitely some character concerns. A highly recruited player with the combination of traits and talent you are looking for. The offense and quarterback play has held him back a bit. He still shined and if he can keep his head on straight, this could be a steal. | ||||
77 | Raiders | Spencer Rattler | QB | South Carolina |
Raiders could end up passing on quarterback overall. They paid Gardner Minshew a ton of money this year in the tune of $25 Million over 2 years. $15 Million guaranteed, double what Sam Darnold got and triple what 2023 Baker got. They are saying they have great confidence in Aiden O'Connell. But, Rattler would give them another player to develop behind Minshew and O'Connell that has huge upside. | ||||
78 | Commanders | Jeremiah Trotter Jr. | LB | Clemson |
The Seahawks let Bobby Wagner leave again and they need to find a replacement. Look for son of an NFL great, Jeremiah Trotter to fill the spot. An aggressive, hard-hitting linebacker that brings a high-IQ with him to the NFl. | ||||
79 | Falcons | Javon Bullard | S | Georgia |
Jaguars have some holes on defense, particularly the secondary. Look for them to continue to look for answers and pour resources into that secondary. | ||||
80 | Bengals | Jaden Hicks | EDGE | Washington State |
Cincinnati really missed Jessie Bates last year. They brought back Vonn Bell, but need some more youth at safety. Hicks is an athletic play maker to give them some depth. Could develop into a starter early. | ||||
81 | Seahawksvia NO | Maason Smith | DL | Seattle |
Seahawks' new head coach comes from the Baltimore Ravens. We know their front seven are extremely important to the success of the defense. Masson Smith gives them a building block to the front line of their defense. | ||||
82 | Colts | Renardo Green | S | Florida State |
The Colts love athletes and Green is one of them. Look for the top performing RAS scores at each position and it will help you find future Colts. Green offers some position flexibility and great athletic ability to the back end of the Indianapolis defense. | ||||
83 | Bills | Jaylen Wright | RB | Tennessee |
Rams had a great turnaround last year and Kyren Williams was a fantastic surprise for fantasy managers. They will hate this pick, but don't be surprised if the Rams add a back. Williams is coming up on free agency here soon and they could use another back to compliment him. Wright is an explosive back that really pairs well with Williams. | ||||
84 | Broncos | Beaux Limmer | WR | Alabama |
The Denver Broncos need to address the Center position at some point in the draft. Limmer offers them a physical player that has experience. A physical SEC lineman that gets to block for Bo Nix. | ||||
85 | Texansvia PHI | Zach Zinter | IOL | Michigan |
Houston has really attacked the defensive side of the ball this offseason. Look for them to continue to build the offensive side through the draft. Zinter gives them a plug and play guard to help protect C.J. Stroud. | ||||
87 | Cowboys | Jalen McMillan | WR | Washington |
Washington has a ton of players that will be drafted, including three wide receivers. They all should go early and McMillan should not be forgotten in this group. A very talented player that can play both inside and out. He goes to Dallas to compete with Jalen Tolbert for the WR3 spot. | ||||
88 | Packers | Blake Fisher | OT | Notre Dame |
Green Bay's offensive line needs some resources. Look for them to address it in the draft. Fisher is a physical right tackle with good size. Needs some work in pass-protection, but is a powerful run blocker. | ||||
89 | Buccaneers | Braelon Allen | RB/b> | Wisconsin |
Rachaad White fantasy managers, look away. He broke down a bit at the end of the season and Chase Edmonds didn't really do much when he stepped in. Allen offers them a physical runner to pair with White and at 20, he could be their future starter. | ||||
90 | Cardinalsvia HST | Cam Hart | CB | Notre Dame |
Cardinals need help all over the place, especially on defenses. They continue to try to take the best player available and Cam Hart is a great one. In this pass-heavy league you need so many corners. | ||||
91 | Packersvia BUF | Dominic Puni | IOL | Kansas |
Green Bay needs to plug some holes on the offensive line. Puni is an experienced Senior that is big and powerful. Look for him to be a plug and play guy for the Packers. | ||||
92 | Buccaneers | Dewayne Carter | DL | Duke |
Detroit has slowly become one of the better rosters in the league. They could use some inside pass-rush and Carter pairs up well with their edge rushers. | ||||
93 | Ravens | Andru Phillips | CB | Kentucky |
Phillips is a bit undersized to play outside, but held his own in the SEC last year. He probably slides right into the slot for Baltimore. | ||||
94 | 49ers | D.J.James | CB | Auburn |
49ers are in desperate need of secondary help. This really was the end of them in the playoffs, losing with seconds to go in overtime. Look for them to pool resources into this area to do what they can to shore it up. | ||||
95 | Chiefs | Khyree Jackson | CB | Oregon |
Kansas City has done a fantastic job developing their secondary. They grab another young talented player to help backfill their offseason losses. Jackson has inside and outside versatility that fit perfectly in this scheme. | ||||
96 | JaguarsComp Pick | Javon Baker | WR | UCF |
Jacksonville could be in talks to trade for Tee Higgins. But, if they don't get Higgins they will draft a Wide Receiver. This draft is stacked with them so we went with pass rusher and corner first. Baker showed off at the combine and would be an ideal fit with their current wide receivers Davis and Kirk. | ||||
97 | Bengals | Cade Stover | TE | Ohio State |
Eagles get a well-rounded tight end to pair with Dallas Goedert. Stover is a converted linebacker with great size. He is still learning how to play tight end and has great potential. | ||||
98 | Broncos | Brenden Rice | WR | USC |
49ers drafting Brenden Rice, I had to. But, this is the range he will go and he offers them a big-bodied red-zone threat to pair with their current set of weapons. Rice has the physical traits and ability to do everything they want. He is a bully in run blocking and difficult to tackle because of his size. | ||||
99 | Billsvia LAR | Calen Bullock | S | USC |
The Buffalo Bills have had some of the best safety play in the league for a long time. They have a huge void to fill this offseason and Bullock can play right away for them. | ||||
100 | CommandersComp Pick | Cole Bishop | S | Utah |
Commanders need all of the help they can get in the secondary. Bishop is a smart safety with a ton of experience from Utah. Bishop has great size to help in run coverage. An athletic safety that showed off some range on tape with combine numbers to match. |
