Underdog Fantasy NBA Daily Pick ‘Em Plays – May 14
Jalen Brunson – Lower than 42.5 Pts + Rebs + Asts
Has the load become too heavy for New York Knicks guard Jalen Brunson? He hasn’t been bad over the past three games against the Indiana Pacers, but he hasn’t been his otherworldly self, either.
So I’m taking the lower than 42.5 points plus rebounds plus assists play for Brunson for Game 5. He’s been under this in three straight games, and rather than taking a lower on points, I think this is a safer play (unless he explodes for 40+ points again).
Pascal Siakam – Lower than 10.5 Rebounds + Assists
This is a repeat play from Game 4, except Pascal Siakam’s rebounds plus assists projection was set at 11.5 for that game. But 10.5 is high enough for me to fade again for Tuesday.
Siakam has been lower than this total in two straight games and three of his last five. He’s had a pretty underwhelming playoffs, save for a couple of explosive scoring efforts.
Nikola Jokic – Lower than 50.5 Pts + Rebs + Asts
This one is another repeat play that won for me on Sunday. Nikola Jokic was set for 49.5 points plus rebounds plus assists for Game 4, and ended up lower than that. Now he’s set for 50.5 for Tuesday’s Game 5.
Jokic has been lower than 50.5 points plus boards plus dimes in every game of this series against the Minnesota Timberwolves. He’s having big games still, just not this big.
