What a round of golf we saw on Saturday from Valhalla. The course continues to play as expected. No matter what the overwhelming opinion of Valhalla is, the leaderboard this event is producing is one of the best major leaderboards we have seen in years. We were one 15-foot made putt away from cashing both props yesterday as we went 1 and 1. Corey Conners cashed his prop with ease, but Bryson only made one bogey. We have one more day to cash some props, and that is what we will do. Below, we will take a look at May 19th’s Underdog Fantasy board and choose higher or lower on some props. Corey Conners Lower Than 69.5 Strokes
Corey Conners cashed for us yesterday; why not go back to him? He did exactly what we expected. Conners flushes the ball from tee to green and was able to roll a few putts. On a course like this, you can get away with not putting extremely well and find your way to a round of 69. Corey Conners loves these soft fairways and greens.
He hits the ball so solidly that it should not move once he hits his spot. That is what he is elite at, and that is what he will do. Roll with Conners again in your PGA Championship Underdog Fantasy Pick em’ slip for May 19th, 2024.
Tony Finay Higher Than 4.5 Birdies
Tony Finau is striping the ball from tee to green and will need a low one if he wants to contend tomorrow. When you think of where Tony is great… it is longer, easy, bent grass golf courses. That is exactly what Valhalla is, and he is showing how comfortable he is out here. Tony is going to go at a ton of flags and will have ample chances to make birdies. Three par 5’s and a near-drivable par 4 should be four birdies. From there, he’ll need to find one more.
