Underdog Fantasy NBA Daily Pick ‘Em Plays – May 19
Josh Hart – Lower than 11.5 Points
We’re going to kick off this one by being ‘Lower than’ with Josh Hart. This isn’t a fade on Hart’s abilities, but I just don’t think he’s going to have the volume to make this projection happen. Last game, as the Knicks tried to close it out, the usual suspects stole a bunch of the attempts away and Hart saw his shots cut in half. Not he reportedly has an abdominal strain that he’ll attempt to play through, and I just can’t see that going well.
Andrew Nembhard – Higher than 16.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists
The scoring increase for Nembhard is behind me liking this projection. He’s gone for 11 and 15 in the last two games, which pretty much covers this projection on it’s own. He’s also had at least four assists in every game since game two of the Bucks’ series. He got a little busier on the board last game as well, which might might this a cinch.
Nikola Jokic – Lower than 12.5 Rebounds
I’m sure that Jokic is going to come out with something to prove in game seven after a brutal beatdown in game six. However, in four of the six games in this series, including all of the last three, Jokic hasn’t even been close to this mark. Gobert being in the middle and forcing him to play away from the hoop a bit is limiting his boards. In fact, he only has 23 rebounds in the last three games combined. I don’t believe the game seven boost will be enough to get him from there to this projection.
