College Baseball Picks For June 7th – NCAA Baseball Tournament

All College Baseball Bets Are To Win 1 Unit

-128 ML Parlay: Virginia / North Carolina

7:00 ET Kansas State at Virginia

PROBABLE PITCHERS

Kansas State: Owen Boerema Grad LHP 6-3, 5.07 ERA, 105 K, 45 BB, 92.1 IP

Virginia: Evan Blanco SO LHP: 7-3, 3.57 ERA, 86 K, 24 BB, 85.2 IP

Virginia’s lineup is so deep. Eight of their regulars are batting over .300, and all of them have double-digit doubles. UVA ranks 2nd in batting average with a .337, 4th in OPS (1.006), 4th with a 134 wRC+, and 12th in home runs with 114.

In road appearances this season, Kansas State’s starting pitcher Owen Boerema has a 6.81 ERA. Virginia will start Evan Blanco, who has a 1.09 ERA in his last four starts. Additionally, against LHP, the Wildcats offense has a .633 OPS compared to an .896 OPS vs. righties.

There’s a possibility that this game turns into an avalanche that K-State may not be able to stop.

ML Leg 1: -330 Virginia ML

6:00 ET West Virginia at North Carolina

PROBABLE PITCHERS

West Virginia: Derek Clark SR LHP 8-1, 2.82 ERA, 83 K, 20 BB, 89.1 IP

North Carolina: Shea Sprague JR LHP: 3-1, 3.76 ERA, 58 K, 16 BB, 69.1 IP

The Tar Heels are another super-talented ACC offense. Vance Honeycutt, Casey Cook, and Parks Harber all bat 1-2-3 in the UNC lineup with 22, 18, and 20 home runs each. The first five hitters in the lineup all have an OPS over 1.000, and all nine starters have a batting average over .285.

North Carolina’s offense has a 1.039 OPS against LHP. Even though WVU’s Derek Clark has a 1.19 ERA in his last four appearances, this is a bad matchup for a southpaw who doesn’t have top-tier swing-and-miss stuff. Furthermore, Shea Sprague has a 2.72 ERA at home. The Mountaineers offense’s splits are slightly worse against LHP (.806 OPS) than RHP (.883 OPS).

ML Leg 2: -270 North Carolina ML
