AAC

Tulane is expected to face challenges after a successful season, while UTSA aims for a New Year’s Six bowl. SMU has a favorable schedule and potential for the AAC title game. Memphis seeks improvement, FAU has potential under a new coach, and East Carolina looks to build on its best-ever season. The AAC went through some big changes, but they are still close to our hearts in our college football betting previews.

ACC

The ACC football season of 2023 is set to be an entertaining affair, with multiple teams vying for supremacy in the conference. Clemson enters as the clear frontrunner, boasting a history of dominance and a talented roster. However, North Carolina and Miami pose formidable challenges with their impressive talent and capable coaching staff. Virginia Tech is emerging as a dark horse contender, adding an element of unpredictability to the season.

Big 12

The upcoming 2023 Big 12 football season has exciting storylines to anticipate and fierce competition to witness. Oklahoma is the team to beat, given their recent success and talented roster. But do not sleep on Baylor or longshot newcomer Cincinnati in 2023.

Big Ten

Ohio State is the team to beat, with its rich history and formidable talent. However, Penn State and Wisconsin are predicted to present strong challenges, armed with skilled rosters and experienced coaching staff. Iowa and Indiana are poised to make their presence felt.

Conference USA

Conference USA has undergone significant changes recently, with teams leaving for other conferences and new teams joining. Despite the reshuffling, Western Kentucky is the favorite to win the conference, led by their successful coach Tyson Helton and a strong offense. Liberty, under the guidance of new coach Jamey Chadwell, is expected to contend for the C-USA title despite roster turnover. Middle Tennessee, New Mexico State, and Louisiana Tech are also predicted to be competitive. UTEP, Jacksonville State, Sam Houston, and FIU round out the rankings, with each team facing unique challenges and opportunities in the 2023 season.

Independents

Notre Dame focuses on explosive offense with QB Sam Hartman and talented receivers. Run defense improvement is crucial. Army adjusts offensive strategy under coordinator Drew Thatcher, aiming for defensive bounce-back. UConn looks to replicate last season’s success with strong defense and offensive strides. UMass, led by coach Don Brown, aims to strengthen defense but faces offensive challenges. Army and Notre Dame are the most relevant independents still, but UMass and UConn are fun at times.

MAC

Toledo is aiming for a rare repeat atop the MAC, led by quarterback Dequan Finn and a strong defense. In the West Division, Toledo is favored to defend its title with 16 returning starters. Eastern Michigan and Northern Illinois will pose challenges. Central Michigan and Ball State look to bounce back while Western Michigan undergoes a rebuild. Overall, the MAC is expected to have parity in the middle, with top teams separating from the pack. Mountain West

PAC 12

SEC

Sun Belt
